Exotic travel on a luxurious ship is never cheap, but you can stretch your dollar farther with new promotions from Regent Seven Seas. Cruise the Pacific on three Seven Seas Mariner voyages this fall, ranging in length from 14 to 19 nights, and you’ll receive two-for-one savings, free economy airfare (or $999 business-class air upgrades) and complimentary shore excursions. Fares start at $5,995 per person for a 301-square-foot suite with balcony, and include all beverages and gratuities, in addition to the free excursions and airfare. That means, with the exception of spa treatments, souvenirs, and pre- or post-cruise hotel stays, pretty much all of your travel expenses will be covered in your cruise fare. Considering that one-way airfare to Asia and Australia can be very pricey, this promotion represents good value — even if your up-front costs are high. You must book by May 31, 2009.

MSC has recently extended this offer to May 31, 2009. Book a balcony cabin on select seven-night Mediterranean cruises for only $999 per person — a great price for the freedom, not to mention the beautiful views you’ll take in, of a stateroom with a verandah. This offer is valid on select sailings on MSC Poesia and MSC Musica, which both sail Eastern Mediterranean itineraries; MSC Orchestra, which sails the Baltic; and MSC Splendida and MSC Fantasia, the lines newest ships which are sailing Western Mediterranean itineraries. Take advantage of this affordable balcony rate while space is available, and keep in mind that kids 17 and younger sail free — which would make for a nice summer vacation for the whole family.
